His frontline experience as former Director of Kenya’s Criminal Investigations Department (CID) provides a gritty, real-world foundation. At the same time, his visionary role as the founding Executive Secretary of the Regional Centre on Small Arms (RECSA) showcases his strategic, diplomatic acumen in shaping regional security policy. This practical mastery is complemented by rigorous academic discipline as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at USIU-Africa.

Appointed as the Director of Criminal Investigations, He led one of Kenya’s most important investigative institutions during a transformative period.
